Research Project
Study and design of artificial intelligence algorithms for quality control of production processes
My PhD focuses on developing AI-driven computer vision systems for anomaly and defect detection in industrial manufacturing, particularly in the furniture and automotive sectors. The objective is to design machine vision algorithms that integrate with robotic automation to enhance quality control, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency. This involves studying state-of-the-art AI techniques, developing prototype algorithms, and evaluating their effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
By advancing automated inspection systems, my PhD aims to contribute to industrial innovation and support sustainable manufacturing practices. The research will address current challenges in quality control, where manual inspection remains inefficient and labor-intensive, by implementing reliable AI-based solutions that improve accuracy and streamline production processes.
