  • Spacetime (De Rham) calculus
  • Field space (Cartan) calculus
  • Lagrangian approach

Noether’s theorems and charge algebra:

  • Noether’s first theorem
  • Noether’s second theorem
  • Boundary Lagrangian shift and anomalies
  • An invariant Poisson bracket
  • Charge algebra

Verification: Written exam about applications of the formalism discussed during the lectures to a specific case

Prerequisites: Basics of differential calculus and analytical mechanics
