A comprehensive CAD system based on radiologic- and pathologic-image biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer relapse

My research is focused on designing computationally efficient model for analyzing medical images to aid in disease diagnosis. At present, I am involved in the BosomShield project, which aims to develop a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system with various modules tailored for different imaging modalities in the context of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Within this project, my PhD work is focused on relapse detection from breast histopathology images. In this project, I aim to develop computationally efficient models with higher accuracy for accurate cancer relapse detection, thereby facilitating timely diagnosis and treatment.
