The training of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Computer Science is the result of experience in computer science disciplines accumulated by the University of Udine since 1979 and is structured in such a way as to provide both a solid theoretical and methodological foundation and detailed technical knowledge of information and communications technologies. The technical knowledge gained by students includes particularly current computer science disciplines sought-after by the job market, such as Algorithms and Data Structures, Databases, Software Engineering, Human-Machine Interaction, Computer Networks and Programming Languages.

Mathematics

The teaching programme of the University of Udine’s Mathematics Bachelor Degree includes a broad and varied overview of the mathematical disciplines, both classical and more recently developed. The Programme also provides knowledge in the fields of physics, computational mathematics and computer science. It develops the ability to comprehend and use mathematical models relating to scientific, economic and technological problems.

Multimedia Science and Technology

Our Multimedia Science and Technology Bachelor Degree Programme provides a sound foundation of training both in computer science and technological aspects and in humanistic and social ones. The training programme focuses on study of the technologies, tools and methods that characterise the multimedia and communication sectors, but is structured in such a way as to equip graduates with a solid theoretical foundation in order to prepare them either to enter the world of work or to continue their studies through a master degree or first-level master.

Internet of Things, Big Data, Machine Learning

The Internet of Things, Big Data, Machine Learning Program aims to embrace the challenges of the modern and future digital economy, providing the student with the skills, tools and typical methodologies that characterize disciplines like Internet of Things, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, by offering courses such as Internet of Things, Data Science, Machine Learning, Cloud Web Technologies and Social Computing.
